All of these should be in the book, except the Ohmu and Asuka might just be cps with additional help -- not real diagrams. Out of curiosity, Which model is your favorite guys and girls? (does that sound weird?)

I was going to diagram the giganotosaurus next, but it's too freakin' hard, so I'll be attempting the kudu first instead [link]. make no mistake, this is not an easy model either, my early estimate is that it will be around 150-200 steps.
So, I thought you all might be interested in how this book is going so far. I do not have a publisher yet, so if a real book doesn't work out (don't worry, it will) then I can submit the diagrams to Origami USA where you can purchase individual pdf diagrams online for around $2-$5 a piece.

Anyway, this will be just a traditional origami book filled to the brim with diagrams, and I estimate a volume around 170-230 pages with 17-22 diagrams and possibly a few bonus crease patterns. Here's what I have so far.

~90 pages and 1040 steps thus far~

1. Flying Samurai Helmet Beetle (320 steps)
2. Western Dragon V3 (233 steps; yup, the one already available, actually, not anymore! I hope you all have a copy because they are no longer online)
3. Flying Stag Beetle (165 steps)
4. Triceratops (114 steps)
5. Simple Dragon (61 steps; already widely available, will update diagrams)
6. Bear Cub (60 steps; One of my very early origami designs
7. Simple Dragonfly (43 steps; Originally designed as a broach for my sister's wedding)
8. Diplodocus (43 steps easiest model in the book?)

And the rest of the models, if all goes well:

9. Flying Atlas Beetle
10. Dragonfly latest version
11. Brachiosaurus (I love dinos!)
12. Giganotosaurus
13. Goldfish
14. Kudu
15. Wolf
16. Western Dragon V1
17. Flying Hercules Beetle

Then (possibly) a few of these?

18. Zoanoid Dragon (crease pattern and help with shaping)
19. Root Borer
20. Spinosaurus New
21. Asuka (might be impossible copyright issues)
22. Ohmu (same)
23. Eva Unit 1 (same)
24. Guyver III (same)
25. Parasaurolophus
Someday I'd like to makes some video tutorials of my own, but for now, Tadashi Mori is your best bet. He has over 100 origami video tutorials on his youtube account, including my very own Western Dragon and Simple Dragon. Check them out if you're interested!

And yes, I'm still working on an origami book of my own, it's just a slow process and I do want to put out the best product I am capable of;)
Are any of you DA people interested in Game of Thrones? I watched the first season a couple months ago and was so impressed that I ordered the books as well. I've only read the fist book so far, but it was excellent, if you're a fan TV series then you should definitely check them out:

If you aren't familiar with the TV series, well, it has often been compared to The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, probably because of the immense detail given to this alternate history in a fantasy environment. The storyline is mostly bleak with only a few likable characters and it doesn't follow the usual 'Hero's' Journey' archetype, good doesn't always prevail. Personally, I thought the best parts of the show (so far) are the visuals, costume design, and mostly outstanding acting. A fair bit of warning though, the show is extremely violent and has a bunch of sex, nudity, and inappropriate language, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone under the age of 17, heck, I feel a little guilty watching it at the age of 22!;)
I never really got into the Harry Potter phenomenon; sure I watched the first four films and enjoyed them, but by the 5th film I was losing interest. This year, 5 years later, I decided to finally watch the whole series and pretty much loved the final four films and was super impressed by the improved acting from all the kids. After that, I was obsessed enough to buy all the books (used) in order to learn the whole story. Here's my IMDB overview of the films with little tidbits about all the novels as well.

Here's a little slideshow video I just made with some of my better origami designs from over the years.

Okay guys, I've decided to make the Western Dragon diagrams public. Originally I sent them to a select few people for proofreading and improving clarity (and as a result, had to make more edits than I would have liked), but I was a bit uncomfortable with that decision from the get-go. These are the only diagrams from the book that I'll be releasing publicly in PDF format and I plan to edit the rest mostly on my own.

Here's a slideshow-video which shows how to fold the coolest dinosaur known to man in 1:30! Well, I doubt anyone could fold the model from the video alone, but it does give you a general idea of what a sheet of paper has to do to get to the final product.

Well, I procrastinated way longer than I thought I would, but finally I have drawn diagrams by computer, inkscape to be precise. The diagrams are of my simple dragon and are available at mediafire  [link]
Here's a video featuring both of my new Samurai Helmet Beetles!

Thinking about designing a new origami model with hex pleating instead of my customary box pleating. What I'm saying is you probably won't see any new model in quite some time...

It's been a while hasn't it?

I now have an Etsy account up! It only has four models up right now, but eventually I'll have hundreds (well, maybe not...).
Here's the link:

As for new origami, I'm designing a new beetle with a similar base to my flying Atlas Beetle. I should finish it this weekend :)

When I found out these two DVDs were just $9.99 each on Amazon I just couldn't pass up!

BTW EVA2.22 is a masterpiece (Even on a camrip it blew my mind!), and the best selling Bluray of all time in Japan (as far as I know), however I don't have a bluray player, so the DVD version will just have to suffice.

I'm back from Denver! Actually, I've been back since Tuesday night.... The whole trip rocked, but the highlights were definitely spending more time with my sis and brother-in-law, visiting the Denver Museum of Natural History, and getting to watch the Idols perform live! Of course, I got to meet Siobhan too....

Anyway, here's a few pictures of the trip if anyone's interested:

Sooooooooo, what have I been doing....
Well, first off, I finally got a real job. I'm now working as an electrician at Applied Materials Semitool Division. I've actually been there for over a month now, it doesn't feel that long at all! I've been working 40 hours, but starting next week it's mandatory 50 hours. 50 HOURS!!!!

Oh, and I'm going to see an American Idol concert next month with my sister Stasia in Denver. That's a long way from Kalispell and will cost a fortune for the plane tickets. Hopefully there'll be no regrets:)

As for new origami designs, I have ideas, but haven't found the time to really try them out.
