Origami Ohmu v2 by origami-artist-galen Origami Ohmu v2 by origami-artist-galen
New Ohmu!

The biggest difference in this version is that it is closed from below, this keeps the figure tall unlike the previous version. The model also has 10 more legs and slightly different proportions.

Here's the first version I designed a couple years ago for comparison:

Origami Ohmu v2 by ~origami-artist-galen a fantastic example of masterful origami that took hours of construction , many of us can't fold a single leg but the artist even made the eyes. Amazing! ( Suggested by spligity and Featured by Talty )

It's a creature from the Miyazaki film "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind". About as big as a Mothra larva too, but is actually sweet-natured like a whale.

I have a crease pattern for the old one, but nobody else has folded it yet, it is really difficult.
